At Preston we are fortunate to have a dedicated club room with direct access to the outside area as well as cooking facilities, access to the hall for movie nights (once a term) and any other resources that may be needed.

Our wrap-around care is facilitated by Hitchin Town Football club who provide a Breakfast and After-School Club during term time. Breakfast club is open from 7.45am until the start of the school day and runs Monday to Friday. After-school club is open from the end of the school day until 5.30pm and runs Monday to Thursday. 

All children must be registered for the Clubs in advance and this is done through an online booking system. Click Here

To secure your child's place, please make your selection of the days and sessions you want to book for each term. 

Our After School sessions offer a wide range of enrichment activities and these are changed every half term based on the children's wishes. Some of the activities available:
 

• A range of sports like gymnastics, dodgeball, cricket, olympic events, football and hockey.
• Arts and Crafts including clay sculpting, painting, air-dry clay activities and rock painting.
• Computing activities including coding.
• Construction activities for example Lego, Mobilo and big construction equipment.
• Free play activities using a range of board games, toys, arts and craft materials and the fantastic outside area.

Healthy snacks are available and as part of our healthy school ethos we provide the following:

• For Breakfast Club, children have a choice of cereals, toast, croissants, pancakes and crumpets as well as fruit and yoghurt.
• For After School Club there is a selection of vegetable crudites and healthy dips, sandwiches and fruit.
