Tapestry
At Preston, we use Tapestry as a platform to share information regarding your child's progress in Reception. It is a secure online learning journal that enables parents and staff to share videos, photos and diary entries to celebrate a child's learning and development.
The Reception staff will upload at least one entry per week and parents are encouraged to share any information about the child's development and progress on a regular basis. It is always exciting to see what the children are up to during weekends, holidays and special family celebrations. This enables Preston staff to work collaboratively with parents to mark key moments in the children's development. At the end of their time in Reception, it becomes a wonderful record of memories and mile stones of their first year at Preston Preston Primary School.
The records are secure and will be kept in line with our GDPR policy.
