In history we learnt about what toys Egyptian children would play with in their spare time! We are also reading The Egyptian Cinderella!
WB 8th May
On Friday 12th May 2023, Maple dis a workshop on Ancient Egyptians! We learnt that it took 70 days to complete the whole mummification process. We also touched a real life crocodile that had been taxidermied.
One of our homework projects was to create our own pyramid. The Ancient Egyptians were alive about 3,000-4,000 years ago.
We've got lots of books about mummification and Ancient Egypt.
Fun-fact: Ancient Egyptians mummified cats!
WB 17th April
The class went out to the pond. We found lots of algae!! Miss Thorpe found a bone. There were a few lily-pads and lots of pond skaters!!! In History, we are learning about ancient Egyptians. One of the pupils did this drawing:
We also cut out facts that we put on a timeline.
