We have had another busy week in Chestnut! We found a mysterious message written on the board and eventually discovered it was written by a snail! In Literacy, we have enjoyed listening to the story of The Snail and the Whale by Julia Donaldson and made some snails to stick and count on our homemade rock in Maths. In Phonics, we have started to learn how to say and write the initial sounds s, a, t, p and i and enjoyed boat building with the construction. We also had our first Nature School and made nests for our animals!
