Shadow Puppet Films and Resources
Below you will find ways to make a puppet theatre and shadow puppets, or ways to use your hands. This is a perfect project if you are running short of art supplies. All you need are sticks from the garden, sticky tape and old boxes or cereal packets! You can draw around shapes or print out pictures and cut them out or make up your own.
Also, you will find performances by Richard Bradshaw, who will show you how to move your puppet and some stunning shadow puppet performances, using the whole of your body. if you pin up a sheet in a doorway and light it from behind you can try this out.
