Like most PTAs, the majority of our funds are raised through the events that we run.  In 2020 and the first half of 2021, unfortunately, most of our fundraising activity was curtailed due to restrictions imposed as a result of the Covid pandemic, but as of September 2021, we are thrilled to be back with our normal packed calendar of events. 

Whilst our fundraisers vary from year to year, we do have some regular events in the calendar, including our ever popular Christmas Fair, school discos, quiz nights for parents and staff, and of course, Campover.

Campover is held at the end of the summer term and is the last event in our calendar. It is always very well attended and loved by all of the children. Held on our school field, families have the choice of coming for the day or pitching a tent and staying the night!  Entertainment includes music, games, stalls, bbq, bar and refreshments as well as a late night movie for the children to finish off the evening.

In addition to the above annual events, bi-annually we also host the 'Preston May Ball'. This event is hugely successful both in terms of enjoyment and fundraising and provides an opportunity for the wider community to come together. It is always very well supported by members of the village, many of whom no longer have children at the school. It is a black tie event, held in a marquee on the school field and the evening includes a four course meal, live music, auction, raffle, photo-booth and bar.

Other events we have run include cinema nights, colour fun run, Christmas cards, sponsored walks to name but a few.
