This week we have been improving our descriptive writing by using a range of writing techniques. We have focussed on how to use figurative language to 'show not tell' what a character looks and acts like. In our science lessons we have been doing further investigation into what a balanced diet is and how this can be achieved. We though about people with different dietary requirements and how they can maintain a balanced diet. Our History topic is the Romans in Britain, this week we used atlases to study European countries and then we used maps to show where the Romans had invaded. In Art, we have been looking at patterns and how we can draw inspiration from nature. We also enjoyed our French learning where we have begun describing features; like hair colour and eye colour.
