This week Maple have been investigating more into Roman Britain and the conflict with the Celtic population of Britannia. They looked into the life of Boudica and how she faced the Romans. We've continued focusing on multiplication in maths and are beginning to practise formal written methods. We began printing our roman tile inspired printing blocks. On Friday, we had our Roman workshop from St Albans Cathedral, we learnt about the Roman Army, Temples, Theatre and the Forum. We had our P.E. balancing lesson outside on the timber trail! We really enjoyed trying to stay on the trail and find our centre of gravity to stay up-right.
