About the school
Preston School is a junior mixed infant voluntary controlled (VC) primary school accommodating children aged 4 to 11. We are situated in the pretty North Hertfordshire village of Preston, approximately 3 miles south of the market town of Hitchin. Our religious character was founded by the Church of England and we have strong ties with St. Martin’s Church in Preston.

Monday 8.45am – 3.15pm
Tuesday 8.45am – 3.15pm
Wednesday 8.45am – 3.15pm
Thursday 8.45am – 3.15pm
Friday 8.45am – 3.15pm
Please note that the school gates open at 8.30am and children go directly to their classroom.
(Registration time is 8.45am. Official end of compulsory school day is 3.15pm)
