Welcome to the Preston School Association (PSA) page.

The PSA has been an active and an integral part of the school community for many years. In its time the PSA has raised tens of thousands of pounds, which has been spent on equipment and resources to enrich our children’s experience at Primary School. 

Thanks to the latest amazing fundraising efforts of our school community, our latest initiatives have been to support enhancing design technology provision with cookery equipment and utensils, as well as upgrading the environment in the clubroom which will be used to accommodate cookery lessons (much-needed new stools will be delivered soon!). We were also delighted to be able to fund a local artist to help transform the library into a welcoming space for children to read, reflect, and listen to stories. 

Following on from the PSA's previous efforts to help enhance the school's beautiful grounds and support the teaching staff's commitment to outdoor learning and play, we are also pleased to have been able to fund extra outdoor tables and benches and a new shed to make sure that outdoor play equipment is easy to access and look after by pupils. 

However, the PSA is about much more than simply fundraising. The PSA exists to provide closer links between home and school and it is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school, working towards a common goal.

All parents and members of our school community are encouraged to get involved, even if they only have a small amount of time available. 

The PSA is extremely conscious of the ethos and diversity of our school, and we try very hard when organising and planning events to respect this. Not all of our events are run as fundraisers.
