We started this half term with a trip to space! We have started our new book ‘Lights on Cotton Rock’ and we had fun drawing and labelling our own spaceships as well as hearing a little bit of the story each day. We have been writing as the main character and using the past tense to write a diary entry. In Maths we have all been measuring length and height using centimetres and metres. In music, we are learning a new song and have been playing a range of percussion to accompany the song. We are really enjoying cricket on a Thursday and are developing our hitting, throwing and catching skills. We have started to learn about the important event during Holy week and learning more about the Easter story.
