In the last week of our animals topic, we have been reading Rumble in the Jungle and recognising rhyming words before writing collaborative animal poems. We have talked about caring for animals and after watching a video of my snake, the children drew what the snake needed to survive. In Maths we have been comparing 2D shapes and making patterns and pictures by rotating the shapes. We have also completed our art work in the style of Henri Rousseau's Tiger in a storm. In Continuous Provision, the children have made a drive through safari park and made up stories playing with the dinosaurs in their new woodland home.
