Our Computing lessons have involved editing images using software; we enjoyed changing the background colours and adding effects to make images more exciting. Thanks to the help of Mrs Vivian we have used our Art learning to print our roman inspired patterned tiles, we used block printing techniques and noticed the symmetry in our work. Our music learning allowed us to explore how we can use unconventional symbols to produce rhythms. We also finished our P.E. Fitness module by creating personalised routines to exercise, we structured our workouts with a warm up, stretch and a cycle of repetitions. We ended the week with an exciting workshop from Hitchin Museum about skeletons. Here we recapped our knowledge of the human skeleton and looked at bones, some of which had been affected by preventable and curable diseases. The speakers were very impressed with how we engaged with the activities and expressed their gratitude to the class for being so knowledgeable and welcoming.
