Love, Learn, Aspire
"Let all that you do be done in love." 1 Corinthians 16:14
This week Maple ventured outside for their science lesson to pollinate daffodils after learning about how flowers play a vital role in a plants life cycle. They learnt how to identify the male and female parts of the flower and used secondary sources to gather information about these parts and their functions. Maple has been working hard to develop their netball skills and can follow netball rules to travel and pass the ball. In R.E., they explored the Easter story in the Bible and we discussed the events and asked deeper questions about the thoughts, feelings and actions of the people involved in the crucifixion of Jesus. We also enjoyed having a special guest, Bart Gee, who spoke to the whole school about turning disability into a possibility. We were captivated by his determination and his amazing piano playing; watch his video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sANDTH1QyDA&ab_channel=BartGee-BreakingLimits
We also enjoyed celebrating Spring with the parents and community of Preston at the whole school coffee morning. We hope you enjoyed our performance of Here Comes The Sun.
