Using the book Binny's Diwali, we have been learning about Diwali. We made paper and clay Diyas, which we will paint next week. The children have enjoyed drawing and making up stories to go with their pictures. In Maths we are looking at whole and parts, using animals and toys as well as numbers. We are learning about our senses and have used our sense of sight to paint flowers and experimented with smelling different liquids. The Ipads were popular this week where we practised our letter and number formation and made drawings.
