  • World Music Day Make music following these ideas for virtual and online music making. This main website leads you to loads of great activities. Perfect for entertaining your dad on his special day!
  • Lockdown Sound Challenge THE CHALLENGE People all over the country are ending their short sound recordings to LSC. These samples will then be chopped up, spliced together, looped and manipulated into short musical pieces by the Lockdown Sound Challenge producers. GET SAMPLING You can use anything you have to capture the sounds. Use your phone, laptop, or microphones (if you have them). Try to make your sounds as interesting as possible – this is your time to get creative! UPLOAD YOUR SAMPLE Your audio sample should be no longer than 30 seconds. Please name the file of your audio submission in the below format:
  • Bash the Trash Make instruments from trash and then literally bash it. Find how here. Join the open Zoom video conference on Make Music Day, Sunday 21 June, and make instruments with others across the world, show them off, and ask questions of the expert builders – watch this space for more details coming soon! In partnership with Hal Leonard Europe, we want to see social media awash with your finest renditions of this timeless tune, whatever the style, genre or arrangement. Take a listen to existing cover versions for some inspiration and check out Make Music Day ambassadors, Apollo5 with their take on Bring Me Sunshine.
