Today we wore odd socks and took part in several anti-bullying activities in support of Anti-Bullying Week.
This evening saw our school hall transformed into a wonderful art gallery, brimming with beautiful marine life creations. The children used a range of techniques and mediums including water colour, marbling and crayons to create their masterpieces. We were very grateful to have local artist Amy Pettingill, join us as guest judge selecting a winning piece from each year group. Alongside the amazing artwork, visitors enjoyed an array of freshly prepared canapés served by our year 6 students. A big thank you to the PSA for supporting the school in putting on the event. It was an inspirational evening.
On Wednesday 11th October, Chestnut and Birch had a fantastic visit to the Shuttleworth Exhibition to support their topic on Journeys. A good time was had by all!
A big thank you for all the generous donations given to our Harvest appeal. We will be passing these on to the Hitchin Food Bank.
On Tuesday, the whole school walked to the Church and celebrated Harvest Festival with our families and the rest of the village community.
