Our space journey continues! After reading Aliens Love Underpants, the children drew and labelled their own aliens and designed their own pants! It was lovely to see all the children dressed up for world book day and we enjoyed sharing the books some children brought in to share.
We made moon sand which we used to recreate the mountains and craters on the moon. The Planetarium visit created a Wow moment by lighting up the constellations in the night sky.
In Maths, the focus has been on numbers within 10, looking at 1 more and 1 less and starting to investigate number bonds to 10. The children have made space pictures using a variety of resources and models of rockets and other transport using the large construction. We are now starting to read and recreate parts of the Easter story.
