This week the whole school had an exciting visit from to people from the Temple in Watford. Our class took part in a play telling a Hindu story, we were able to dress up and perform. We were also able to get some face and hand painting in traditional patterns. It was very interesting to learn more about the Hindu religion and the cultural practices of the people who visit the Temple. Due to the weather this week we have been spending some play and lunchtimes in the classroom. We really enjoy using the speed stacking cups, this week some of us built a huge pyramid. We had to show team work and perseverance as the cups were a bit unstable! In Art we’ve spent the week working efficiently to complete our radial weaving project. We had to concentrate on the over-under pattern and improve our knot tying skills. On Friday we finished the week with the whole school Mini Marathon. It was great to have some parents come to cheer us on and we were very pleased to see the PSA with their refreshments table! We pushed ourselves to not give up, even when our legs hurt!
