This week we have written stories based on the book we have been reading, Handa's Surprise.
We have been singing songs, reading books and acting out own number stories to help us with subtraction.
After finishing our animal grouping learning, the children have taken turns to group our animals into mammals, amphibians, reptiles, birds and fish. We have also talked about and matched animal body parts.
For art, we have looked at the painter Henri Rousseau. We are starting to create our camouflage jungle pictures inspired by him.
We enjoyed our class assembly, where we showed our learning to the rest of the school and the parents.
