Chestnut have been getting ready for the King's Coronation this week. We have helped transform the role play area into a Palace fit for a King and Queen! We have also started reading our class book 'A Walk in London' and have enjoyed finding out about some well-known landmarks. We have been using junk modelling techniques to make our own buildings such as Tower Bridge and the Shard. We are beginning to write sentences in Literacy, so we wrote about the landmarks we have been learning about. As part of our learning in Knowledge and Understanding the World, we have been looking at trees. We went outside and sketched some of our fruit trees with blossom.
