Environment
WB 22nd May
This week we have seen 1 blue tit,19 swifts,6 pigeons,2 crow and 3 blackbirds. The algae invasion has been settling down. We have seen more lily pads. The pond is clearer and there is birds a nest.
W/B 8th May
This week, we have seen 23 pigeons, a pheasant, 10 crows and 4 starlings. Sadly, we saw a dead baby bird!!! The algae invasion has not been dealt with. We also saw a gull, 2 blackbirds, 4 swifts, 3 blue birds and 2 red kites. Lots of our trees have been growing lush leaves and some of the trees have been budding. There are loads of blue bells in the woods.
W/B 24th April
This week we saw a pheasant, 6 pond snails, 8 pigeons, 1 crow and 5 blackbirds. The trees started to blossom and they are also developing leaves. The pond volume has risen and algae has invaded the pond but there was new lily-pads reaching for the surface. On a silver birch tree we saw a nest. On the mound there is lots of grass.
