  It was a pleasure to be able to present Golden Awards and Star badges for golden tickets in our Golden Assembly this morning.  Well done to all of the recipients for all of  your achievements.

  Congratulations and well done to our first golden awards of 2018.  It was lovely to hear all the different reasons of why your teachers selected you this week and we had a really enjoyable time at our tea party this afternoon.

  

• Music Concert

  We had a delightful time at the music concert after school today where a few children shared some of the musical skills.  We enjoyed listening to the piano, recorder and singing, with a range of music including Katy Perry's 'Firework', Great Balls of Fire, The Holly and the Ivy to name just a few.

  Well done to our Golden award winners from last Friday, who have shown a good deal of patience in having to wait until today to celebrate in our Golden teaparty.  It was lovely to hear about all the preparations they have been making for Christmas and their letters to Father Christmas!

  What a busy time we had in Golden Assembly this morning, we celebrated our Golden Awards and we were delighted to present silver and gold star badges for completion of golden ticket cards.  We also presented prizes to the winners of the Preston Village Trust competition.  In Reception and Class one the children had to create a Christmas/winter picture and in Key Stage Two a poem, the children will also have the honour of turning on the village Christmas lights on Sunday.

  Congratulations for our pupils receiving Golden Awards in assembly today, it was fantastic to hear why your teachers had selected you and the skills/attributes that you have been demonstrating.  We were also delighted to present one silver star badge for completing a second golden ticket card.

  We also presented the winners of our Anti-bullying poster competition, congratulations to George, Herbie, Raphael and Molly, hose posters will be used around school.

  We celebrated both Children in Need and Anti-bullying week today in Golden Assembly.  It was lovely to see the children dressed in their 'Do you thing!' theme.  Class 3 shared some outstanding anti-bullying poetry which will be shared on the website next week.

  Congratulations to our Golden award recipients and our Star badges, where we presented bronze, silver and our first gold - well done to you all.

  We also presented the prizes from the Preston Village Trust to the winners or the firework pictures display - well done to out three winners.

  What a lovely way to start the morning with our Golden Assembly, celebrating all the learning taking place in Preston this week.  It was wonderful to see the poppy art work from Class One.  Congratulations to our Golden award recipients and those children who received their bronze and silver star badges.

  What a busy Golden Assembly we had today.  Reception shared their diva lamps, Class 2 their Roman shields and Class 3 their half term homework of Anglo-Saxon shields.

  We enjoyed presenting our Golden awards to those children selected by their class teachers and our Star badges for completion of golden ticket cards.  Congratulations to you all.
