On Wednesday, we welcomed Bart, a hugely motivational speaker into school. His story captivated and inspired us all and we all enjoyed hearing about Bart's ethos of turning disability into possibility.
Well done to the Community Committee for organising a wonderful coffee morning. Parents and friends of the school were entertained as the children showcased their Easter poems and songs. A special thank you to all of the bakers who kindly donated cakes.
We have had so much fun in our Science learning this week across the school! This year's theme of 'connections' has allowed us to explore DNA, how the eye works, what is a scientist, how tractors are linked to space, forces and flying dragons to name just a few topics! We would like to say a big thankyou to our two parent scientists who gave up their time to talk and work with us.
In preparation for Science Week, we enjoyed learning more about Mars and celebrating the achievements that have taken place in the exploration of the red planet so far. Preston pupils dressed up as scientists, astronauts and even aliens!
The circus came to Preston on Wednesday when our wonderful Infants put together a show for their families. It was a lovely way to celebrate the end of a fun topic!
