This week we explored how we can write descriptive settings using our figurative language: adjectives, alliteration, similes, metaphors and personification. We planned out our work using some images of setting to prompt our creative thinking. We wrote our descriptive settings at the end of the week and will be developing our language choice next week. In Maths we have been subtracting 2 and 3-digit numbers. This has involved exchanging between the place value columns. This week in French we have moved on to introducing ourselves, we had fun doing role-play and even had a dinosaur visit the lesson! In Art we focussed on tonal scales and used our sketching techniques to show light and shade.
