This week Maple has been busy as always. In English, we have been working on writing expanded noun phases. We magpie-d ideas from each other to help improve our word choice. In Maths, we have been focussing on measurement. We enjoyed dressing up for Mars Day and interacting with the English and Maths activities. We loved dressing up! In Music, we made songs to represent Mars. We enjoyed taking part in our cricket session this week. In Science, we set up our observation over time. We were looking at how water is transported in plants; we got up close with celery using magnification lenses. We have watched over the last week how the carnations and celery has drawn the coloured water up the stem to the flowers. The red pot worked the best; the white petals turned pink!
