  Coding week has kicked off with a bang! Oak class have been busy building their robots. We may have a future Mars Rover engineer or technician amongst us! STEM learning.

  

• Natural Noel - Hitchin Christmas Tree Festival

  We will be exhibiting for the second year running, so please come along and show your support. The children have been busy creating lovely handmade ornaments to adorn our tree.

  It was wonderful to welcome all of our families into school to support the PSA Christmas fair. We even had a very special visitor…Ho, Ho, Ho! A big thank you to all of the volunteers for putting on this much loved event! 

  

• Healthy Eating Morning

  It was so lovely to welcome our infant parents in this week for a joint lunch with their children. Earlier in the day, Herts Catering delivered an informative assembly about the importance of a balanced diet and then our younger children had an opportunity to try some 'rainbow food'!

  This years theme is ‘Look beneath the surface’, with the idea to encourage children, young people, parents/carers and professionals to recognise that we all face difficult challenges in our lives and that you can’t always tell what someone is going through.

  This week, we welcomed two special visitors to talk to us about their Hindu faith. Following a whole school assembly, each class enjoyed various workshops including drama, music and even cooking!

  

• It’s a win for the first netball fixture of the season
