We did it! We made it to the end of term and had a nearly full class for the whole term! Awesome!
Games, puzzles, and crosswords were all Christmas themed. We can’t tell you the other things we wrote as they are a secret! We watched a pantomime on the last day.
We learnt our times tables and addition by playing Yahtzee. We learnt coordinates by playing Battleships. Why not have a go at home? Fun for all the family!
We learnt all about shadows and how they grow larger or smaller, depending on how close to the light source they are. We hope you like our shadow puppet play.
We designed and made our own shadow puppets, which took several tries to get right. Super problem solving activity. We also made some gorgeous Christmas hats and lots of other things we cannot possibly mention as that would give away the surprise! Curiouser and curiouser!
Secrets of Success - This week we are learning how to ‘push ourselves’. It was good to see people stepping out of their comfort zones to act, make puppets using trial and error and sing, ( in small, socially distanced groups), in front of their friends.
We sang in groups The Twelve Days of Christmas, which sounds amazing! Good job everyone, particularly for taking direction, listening to instructions and being quiet whilst others were recording. Great teamwork!
